Rusty's 6.5 inch suspension kits consist of everything you need to run a 33 inch tire both on road and off road. You could even add a set of Rusty's cut out flares and run 35 inch tires. Rusty's has put together a package using soft spring rates and specific valve shocks that will give you superior on road handling as well as world wide off road capabilities.
Rusty's kit offers our 180 lbs coil springs, our 6 leaf spring pack complete with OEM style rubber bushings, grade 8 U-bolts and rear spring degree shims. The kit comes standard with Rusty's beefy fixed upper and lower control arms, upgrades are optional. The body is centered by Rusty's HD trac bar with new frame mount and the Rusty's frame brace strengthens and ties it all together. A 3 inch drop pitman is used to keep the steering geometry correct and offering superior on road handling and eliminates tie rod end binding off road. The Rusty's Kevlar stainless steel brake lines offer better brake performance and give the extra length for that extra suspension travel. JKS Quicker disconnects are used for maximum flex off road and can be re-mounted in just seconds for great on road handling. A set of Rusty's Hydro shocks give you a great ride and keep the tires on the ground.
When raising the Jeep vehicle 6 inch or more, Rusty's high recommends the use of an Advance Adapter's SYE, slip yoke eliminator, to prevent any driveline vibrations. This is available for the NP231 transfer cases. We also offer a combo that will come with a CV driveshaft built by Tom Woods Driveline.
