A steering stabilizer is must when going to a larger tire; it greatly improves the steering response and handling, reduces wheel shimmy, and stops vehicle wandering. Rusty's heavy-duty twin-tube steering stabilizer is much beefier than OE stabilizers and is designed specifically to handle the loads placed on the steering by a larger and heavier tire and wheel package.
The stabilizer features a large 9/16" diameter chrome-plated piston rod for long life, 2-3/8" outside diameter twin-tube cylinder cylinder for extra oil capacity, velocity-sensitive 10-stage valving, and a tough white finish. Poly bushings are included.
This cylinder is a replacement for Rusty's add-on stabilizer packages and also replaces almost any factory stabilizer with a stem-mount on both ends.
