Rusty's understands there are plenty of fabricators out there that would much rather design and build their own suspension system rather than using off-the-shelf kits, and these customers often turn to Rusty's for the more difficult-to-fabricate items such as control arms and custom brackets. To help the custom fabricator, Rusty's has expanded our line of control arm brackets and mounts to include our new Lower Control Arm Axle Mount, which can be utilized many different ways.
Rusty's 10-degree Lower Control Arm Axle Mount starts with 1/4" thick laser-cut steel that is CNC formed for a precision fit. This bracket is designed to place the control arm mount at an 10-degree angle in relation to the axle. This angle is commonly used for the lower mounts on a triangulated four-link. With light modifications, this angle can be changed to whatever angle is preferred. The spacing between the tabs on the bracket (where the bushing or suspension joint would go) is 2.66", the width of a standard Jeep control arm bushing.
Rusty's 10-degree control arm frame mounts can be used as stand-alone mounts but are designed to be used in conjunction with our 20-degree mounts for proper triangulation. These mounts offer a clean, professional look to a custom suspension and cut down hours of fabrication time!
Please note these brackets are sold in pairs
