Plus, a larger tire and wheel package places significantly more leverage on the steering, which can lead to wandering, steering wheel shimmy, and generally undesirable steering characteristics.
Rusty'sRX800 Steering Stabilizer was developed specifically for Jeeps and trucks equipped with a larger tire and wheel package.This stabilizer offers many of the same features as out popular RX800 series shock absorbers, including a 14mm chrome-hardened piston shaft for superior rigidity and minimal seal wear. The shaft itself is coated with a unique black chromate that is actually more durable to chrome, while offering better resistance to rust than other shocks. The machined aluminum rod end offers strength and good looks and houses American-made polyurethane bushings. The shock body itself is constructed of 2" diameter seamless DOM tubing and the outside of the stabilizer has a durable black diamond powder coated finish. Inside, the massive 1-3/4" diameter piston has valving built to Rusty's specifications that provides effective control of heavy tires and wheels in the most demanding conditions both on and off the pavement.
