Something out on the trail that is always needed is more brakes and beefier steering. The WJ brake conversion and the Rusty's beefy steering will offer just that. These steering composites is not a complete steering kit but a replacement steering for the Rusty's RS-BC999 Brake and Steering Conversion. These are complete tie rod and drag link assemblies, they come complete with the beefy tie rod, drag link, heim rod ends and complete hardware.

The steering tie rod and drag link consist of 1.25" diameter DOM tubing that utilizes 7/8" heim joints, safety washers, misalignment spacers, and all grade 8 hardware. The system requires a new track bar and track bar mounting points to keep the track bar and drag link moving in the same plane with one another; this eliminates the possibility of bumpsteer, wandering, and other undesirable steering characteristics. Please note that this system requires cutting and welding for installation. The tie rod, drag link, and track bar are powder-coated black.

Minimum size wheel allowed is 17"

This is not a full steering system. It is replacement tie rod and drag link for Rusty's WJ Brake and Steering Conversion. The complete system requires many more parts to achieve the proper design and to handle correctly. We recommend raising the track bar mounting point on the axle to align the track bar and drag link angles. Failure to do so may result in poor vehicle handling.
