Now in stock and shipping! Rusty's new progressive-rate coil springs for the JL Wrangler have thousands of hours of R&D time behind them, both in computer modeling and real-world testing. We spend a lot of time perfecting spring rates and ride quality for all of our coil springs, but knowing that the JL owner would demand factory-like ride and handling along with excellent flex off the pavement, we put more time than we ever have before into making sure that our JL springs are the best you can buy!
Beware the one-size-fits-all mentality when shopping for JL springs. Most manufacturers "cheat" by using springs that were designed for another application and simply adapt them to the JL, or they claim a pair of springs are the same side to side. Here are the facts: factory JL coil springs are front and rear as well as side-specific, meaning that all four coil springs on the vehicle are different. The only way to maintain optimum ride quality with lift springs is to develop springs that are specific to each corner! Doing this is complicated and expensive, which is why many manufacturers cut corners. Some use special isolators to make up the differences side-to-side and keep the vehicle level, while others just re-box JK or TJ springs and claim they're for a JL. This is why some companies were so quick to release coil springs and even lift kits: they cut corners at the expense of ride quality and durability. Don't be fooled by the smoke and mirrors. Rusty's JL coil springs were developed for each corner of the JL, and they don't fit any other platform. We know we've developed the best coil springs in the industry for the JL Wrangler.
Our 3.75" coil springs maintain factory ride and handling characteristics while having slightly more spring rate built into them knowing that many JL owners will be adding heavy accessories, such as a winch bumper and tire carrier. They will clear 37" tires without any body modifications and provide the durability to tackle any trail in the country. With light modifications (such as aftermarket fenders) these springs provide the room for 40s and even 42s. All of our coil springs are proudly Made in the USA. You shouldn't have to compromise when shopping for springs, and now you don't have to.
