Rusty's 4.5" Advanced kit is very similar to our popular 3" Advanced kit, but it's a great solution for those that want a a little more lift height to clear a larger tire. Like our 3" kit, we put together our 4.5" system so that it is the most complete 4-5" lift package in the industry. The Rusty's Advanced kit will easily clear 35 inch tall tires while taking off-road performance to a whole new level!

Rusty's used computer modeling to design coil springs that will retain the factory ride while providing the increased ground clearance required for off-road use. Rusty's spent a lot of time perfecting the spring rate of our 4.5" springs so that they offered an excellent balance of flex, load-carrying capacity, longevity, and a comfortable ride on the pavement. It's a great all-around spring that works well on lightweight Jeeps, yet it has sufficient weight ratings to handle heavy accessories such as a front bumper with a winch. We feel we hit the perfect "sweet-spot" with these springs.

The front axle is secured with a pair of our beefy extended-length fixed lower arms and a set of our multi-holed fixed upper arms. These arms correct the wheelbase after being lifted and also bring caster back into proper specifications. The rear axle is properly located by a pair of our beefy extended lower control arms as well as a pair of adjustable rear uppers arms. This rear control arm set corrects the wheelbase after being lifted, and the adjustable upper arms enable the pinion angle to be properly "dialed-in" so that driveline vibrations are eliminated. The front and rear axles are properly centered under the vehicle with a heavy-duty adjustable track bars, which eliminates the failure-prone factory track bar mounts.

A drop pitman arm is supplied to correct the steering geometry and to keep the tie rod ends from binding under extreme flex. Rusty's supplies Kevlar stainless steel brake lines for better braking performance and to provide the extra length needed for a suspension lift. Rusty's Front Sway Bar Disconnects are also included to unlock maximum flex off-road, yet they can be re-mounted in seconds for excellent on-road manners. A set of extended rear sway bar links correct the rear sway bar's operating angle. A complete set of Rusty's Hydro shocks round out this excellent suspension package, which has everything you need to lift your TJ safely and effectively.

To further enhance your TJ's off-road prowess, Rusty's has a variety of additional upgrades available. Adjustable upper and lower control arms for the front axle allow the caster and wheelbase to be "dialed in", while adjustable rear lower control arms do the same for driveline angles. These adjustable arms are also available with forged Flex Ends, which are specially designed suspension joints that allow the suspension a much greater range of movement without binding in their mounts as the axles articulate. Note: Rusty recommends installing a Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit and CV Driveshaft Combo Kit to prevent driveline vibrations with this suspension system. This kit provides additional driveshaft length along with provisions to run a CV (Constant Velocity) joint at the transfer case. These kits are available for the NP231 transfer case that comes standard on non-Rubicon TJs.

For Rubicon models, we offer a Tom Woods 1310 Series Rear CV Driveshaft to replace the factory rear driveshaft and smooth out the driveline by replacing the driveshaft with one that utilizes a double cardan to reduce the operating angles on the factory u-joints.
